Each step taken leads you back to where your foot left off. The frustrating simple motion of walking increases in difficulty as time surrounds you and begins to put pressure on your outer body, ultimately constraining your mind. Its nothing like gravitational force, that would be unrealistic in comparison to what you are experiencing. As the sun dims down through the mountains up ahead, settling your stop motion existence into darkness before the mesmerising gradients of a sunrise shimmer above, bringing with it daylight again.
A glitch in translating your memory of a simple walk through a forest has resulted in you being temporarily suspended in that moment. The source of the glitch is unknown and not checked. It has no reason to occur. Ultimately paralysing you in a memory until the system picks you up and re translates your memory, bringing you back to reality.
An acidic baseline walks you through from beginning to end, subtly changing progressions over the course of eight minutes yet not drastically, being no distraction from the distant squelching acid undertones and tempered percussion. The rhythmic and calming track ‘Parini’, which I discovered to mean Translation Memory: Translation memories are created by human, but computer aligned, which might cause mistakes. They come from many sources and are not checked. Be warned.
